' Veera Simha Reddy ' the upcoming telugu movie getting prepped for the festive season along with ' Waltier Veerayya ' & other movies is also sure & confident about success. So, let's not talk much let the film speak. It's been ages watching Balayya & Chiranjeevi releasing films for Sankrathi season & that's one more point to wait & watch. Trailer looks firey packed with powerful dialogues & Balayya's grace, let's see how it goes.
Music by the most sensational national award winning S. S. Thamman, is a major plus to the film. He's on a roll currently & his any sorts of music is just creating hype. So,why late directly in.
01. Jai Balayya ( Mass Anthem ) ⭐
Vocalist: Kareemullah & Chorus
Rating: 3/5
A perfect intro song to take the emotions of fans to peaks. Thamman being the king of commercial genres is just cashing the situations. Though the song typically matches to the rhythm & tuning of yesteryear' superhit 'Osey Ramulamma Title Song', Thamman programmed it too well, such that it appears fresh, this is nothing new to this composer. But, however strikes the pulse. Sastry too is a king of writing these formulated & commercial lyrics, so he too goes no wrong! He's just perfect.
Kareemullah - the folk talent gets an opportunity & uses it to first class. No doubt his way of rendering this track & that modulations just elevated this song. The choir group is just brilliant. Overall, it's a super duper track.
02. Suguna Sundari
Vocalists: Ram Miryala, Snigdha Sharma & Chorus
Rating: 2.5/5
An electrifying duet for Balayya & Shruthi Hassan. The team has not compromised in terms of quality, so is this track. Yet, a routine mass masala duet song, but still Thamman makes it sound unique, that's where this track wins. Ram Miryala is a good choice, his voice is just crisp. Snigdha Sharma the new introduction, too makes her mark. The way there is no proper pattern in making a song will stand out in this song, ofcourse that's how this man composes, that's a different thing though. Only drawback is the lyric, Sastry gets back to his original form of inconsistency, why did he intentionally use the phrase 'Seema Kuttindey' so many times & why the inappropriate connection between phrases? Only he knows why so & so lyric just creeps in like that from no where. What is this 'Dhittamgaa Kuttindey'? How does it sound ok? Probably Ramjo thought of getting the vibes of 'Ninna Kuttesinade' song, but terribly fails due to inconsistency. If not for lyrics it's a good song.
03. Maa Bhaava Manobhaavalu
Vocalists: Saahithi, Yamini & Renu Kumari
Rating: 2/5
Out & out mass item number with shades of dullness, that's how I can describe this track. If you're a fan of Balayya, this will work, otherwise it's just an ok track to rest others. Thamman is being good always, keeps on trying to engage the audience but somewhere the track lacks few rhythmic senses, that's why the dull feeling is persistent. Female singers doing the item song with some melodious tones, is something like that of yesteryear, sounds sonorous. Ramjo plays safe again. I though didn't like it as of now, might work in repeats, let's see.
04. Mass Mogudu
Vocalists: Mano & Ramya Behra
Rating: 3/5
One more out & out mass song to entertain the audience. With this track the team is telling that VSR is an outright mass commercial film with lots of cracker like moments. This song takes back to the memory lane of 90's where an entire album used to consist commercial numbers from top to bottom. Ramjo again goes with his inconsistency, why the preface about legend NTR gaaru in the song now? Everyone knows Balayya is a hero who has lived upto the standards of NTR gaaru in terms of acting, there is nothing to prove or discuss about that now, so it's unnecessary to write about such things in songs. By the by what is this 'Mass Mogudu'? Only he gets these half cooked terms 🙏🥴
Thamman is on shore, his music is a highlight, nice peppy beats & catchy tune makes this a listenable one. Mano after so many days is like a surprise, it's always nice to hear from him. Ramya is the show stealer, just rocks the stage. Overall a tolerable song in my opinion.
Picks of the album: Title Song Jai Balayya
