Tere Ishq Mein Audio Review- Hindi (2026)

Movie: Tere Ishq Mein (2026)

Director & Production: Aanand L Rai

Cast: Dhanush & Krithi Sanon

Music: A. R. Rahman

Lyrics: Irshad Kamil

Music Label: Sony

"Tere Ishq Mein" - the hindi film released in 2025 & the soundtrack that I heard in 2026. I was so amused by the soundtrack that I didn't resist myself from reviewing it. The hit trio- Aanand L Rai, ARR & Irshad Kamil are back with their third collaboration & that leaves as spellbound as usual. If not faring about the film or it's outcome- their music was always a hit. When I saw this film recently, I was fascinated about the songs & when I heard the songs other day - I was literally awestruck & here am faring the album. A album with 9 songs & all lyrics written by Irshad Kamil with an exception to one song. So, why late lemme jump in.

01. Tere Ishq Mein

Vocalist: Arijith Singh

Rating: 4.5/5

A haunting song that depicts the mood of the film in a song. Lyrics tell you what the film is all about & Arijith tells us why he's been getting these kinda songs again & again-because he's king of this genre. Such a great love ballad & very well structured in terms of orchestra & tuning. ARR kind off starts with the minimal chords & eventually Arijith takes off & then comes the rocking percussions until we are completely saturated by the mood of the song. This isn't a very new or fresh one in terms with ARR or Arijith- but still does the job for audience, atleast for their fans. I literally fell for that second interlude- DYAAMNN! Who's that guitarist? Just amazing!

Arijith Singh

Such a rocking title song which is well composed, written & sung too. Am sad that from now on Arijith isn't available to sing these numbers & Bollywood would definitely miss him in such songs. Even for the first time listeners- this song clicks.

02. Ladki Jaisi

Vocalist: Shukhwinder Singh

Rating: 3.5/5

Here's a thumping dance number in the rustic vocals of evergreen Shukhwinder- who's been the rockstar band singer for ARR for past few years & suddenly he comes back here as a surprise. After Ranjhannaha- Piya Bole - here he is with some fun track, but still this manages to make a mark. I personally feel- those were days where ARR had particular singers in his every film like Hariharan, Asha Bhosle, SPB, Chitra, Shukhwinder, Sadhana Sargum, Mano, Sujatha in his all albums & those were his trade mark songs in those peak times. But yet again Shukhwinder brought me back those memories with this song. I can just loop on this song for his amazing vocals. A typical ARR song & this is for his fans.

03. Deewana Deewana

Vocals: A. R. Rahman

Rating: 5/5

Here comes the best song of the album. If you are a fan of ARR & didn't like this song- then you are not a serious fan & am serious regarding this statement. ARR brings back an yesteryear style 'Qawwali' kind melancholic track accompanied by few percussions, a heavy base Tabla & a stunningly striking Mridangam. ARR says that he sings only the songs that are left out in an album & they turn out the best unexpected & that's very much true. Being his fan & listening this song in Maestro's voice is a blessing in disguise. I had no words when I heard this- I went back to 'Kehna Hi Kya' vibes when I heard that sargum part & dunno how can I put my feeling into words. Thanks for everything- LEGEND!

Many say ARR lost track & he's not in form now- I'll say- "When has he lost form, when he himself is a CLASS!", listen to this track & am sure you'll take back those words. There is only one ARR & he keeps proving it time & again. Who blends such the best classic qawwali style into a modern age song other than ARR.

04. Jigar Thanda- M

Vocals: Darshan Raval

Rating: 4/5

Another chartbuster for the album. The moment song starts, we can start to vibe for the beat & tune. All contemporary musicians should learn from ARR- on how to get in a proper rhythm & scale for those songs which really don't require them seriously though. Who can imagine about 2 great interludes in this funky song. The flute based & violin based- both work! Darshan Raval did his best- now I realize how fine his vocals are & he's yet to get some due. Irshad plays safe here & not upto mark lyrics.

05. Aawara Angaara

Vocals: Faheem Abdullah

Rating: 5/5

Faheem Abdullah

Yet another superb track from the album. The way song starts & ends- both aren't same- it has so much to tell in between & here the winner is Irshaad- what lyrics! The song appears simple- based on few drums & a love ballad- but that's not it all about, the singer Faheem makes sure that we feel the emotion too- the way he sings & evokes expressions are spot on & great singing! If not him, am not sure this song would have sounded that great. Each time he said- "Aawara" my mind went Aawara. ARR keeps touching the base, he says am there still- when vocalists & lyricists are doing their job exceptionally though- but still am there- I do my job like no one else does- the way those subtle interludes were placed & the composition- just wins!! A great song in Bollywood after many years.

06. Chinnaware

Vocals: Shankar Mahadevan

Lyricist: Dhanush

Rating: 3/5

Shankar Mahadevan

Here's a tamil song! Shankar Mahadevan at helm, Dhanush writing the lyrics & ARR doing the pre-requisites- still what more can one expect? A great situational, well written, composed & sung. Legends like Shankar Mahadevan keep telling us that they never age & this is their caliber & this is what they can do. Great song- but didn't appeal so much as because felt like some old tamil folk was rehashed.

07. Usey Kehna

Vocals: Nitesh Aher & Jonitha Gandhi

Rating: 3/5

There is no one in this world who knows better how to utilize vocals other than ARR. A silent song with minimal orchestration & not powerful vocals yet a very effective song. Good situational & the vocalists do their job well.

08. Tere Zikr Mein

Vocals: Shilpa Rao

Rating: 2.5/5

This is a song which didn't work for me- may be because of the singer. I feel Shilpa Rao overrated. I dunno if she ever has some energy to sing any song, accepted that she's got a husky voice, but why to make it feeble & powerless? This is the only song in the entire album that made me feel out of place.

09. Jigar Thanda- F

Vocals: Shilpa Rao

Rating: 2.5/5

I seriously liked the male version, it had all the pomp & color. Again I think this is because of the singer here- she makes this sound out of place with yet again with her feeble voice.

Picks of the Album: Deewana, Aawara Angara & Tere Ishq

OVERALL RATING: 7/10
