1. Yaa Yaa
Singers: K.S.Chitra, Abhay Jodhpurkar, Anjana Soumya & Sai Shivani
Lyrics: Ramjogayya Sastry
Rating: 5/5
The song starts with a folk music describing a village scenario. Then comes Sai Shivani with a wave of folky touch grabbing all our hearts. It has been too many days since hearing these type of genres. Then slowly the beats change and Abhay and Anjana start singing a beautiful melody and wave us into that magic. Again Sai Shivani joins the duo to add village flavour. At the end the real surprise is hidden, then comes Chitra with a melodious rendition of traditional "kopala Gopala", Chitra's voice has an excellent quality of transferring the listeners into a state of trans where only honey, sugar and beautiful fragrance exists. Such outstanding is Chitra's rendition. Mickey gets the right choice to add a traditional touch to the song, the music , lyric need not be devotional but Chitra makes it devotional. And RJS lyrics are simply amazing. Writing 3 genres in one song, only RJS things.
2. Anasuya Kosam
Singer: Karthik
Rap: Roll Ridda
Lyrics: Krishna Chaitanya
Rating: 5/5
A superb youthful song, which has been a trend setting song, teasing the heroin. Mickey's music is amazing, pleasant ,neat and tolerable to hear. KC's lyric was amazing, he just writes correct lyric to get the right amount of emotion from the situation and singer. Karthik is the king in off screen, just nails the song. Roll Ridda's rap was fine.
3. Mummy Returns
Singer: Shravana Bhargavi & Chorus
Lyrics: RJS
Rating: 5/5
Again one more song describing the heroin's position. Completely situational rap kind of thing. Mickey provides correct music to a hyper tech tune. Many music directors should learn , how a hi-fi song should be made with all limits and without spoiling the nativity of Telugu. Usually people on those auto-tuners makeing the singers voice unclear and a huge disturbance in ears. Thats not the way to create party songs, this is the way shows Mickey, how ever this is not a party song. This is so pleasant to hear. Shravana missing the scene from past few days renters with a bang. RJS's lyrics are rocking. King of all genres.
4. Rang De Re
Singers: Ramya Behra, Rahul Nambhiyar & Sai Shivani
Lyrics: RJS
Rating: 5/5
A duet with beautiful melody included in it. Mickey always tries to make the song sound pleasant without using heavy beats and harsh sounds, which I like the most. Thats why he is my personnel favorite. He himself makes the melody more interesting tune & tempo. Ramya Behra and Rahul nailed the song. Along with Shivani, they were too soothing and sounded great. RJS's lyrics were outstanding, "Rama banam, seetha pranam janmalenni ayina neetho prayanam, Radha pryam murali geyam janta nuvvunte brindavanm" sounds amazing.
5. Yellipoke Shyamala
Singers: Karthik
Lyrics: RJS
Rating: 5/5
A pathos, again rocked by Mickey-RJS-Karthik. Too sweet, too soothing and also a bit emotional which is well presented by my favorite singer Karthik. This song is a instant hit, trending in mobiles of all love failures. Well presented in all aspects. The interlude with drum beats at last was the highlight. Karthik is again the king at off screen making the song a slow-pathos/lullaby/what ever you think. Its just amzing. Mickey was completely different in this album, each song had different variations, not like his earlier films, might be due to Trivikram at direction.
