We know at what note NTR is standing after the biggest blockbuster Janatha Garage, which even got national acclaim, so the expectations for JLK are set to no less, So lets wait and watch till sep 21. I need not talk about the film, as we know what it will create in future. Directly going to music, its as usual our very own rockstar DSP who composed the music for this film. DSP composed 6 tracks for the film and released 4 tracks on september 3. So lets directly go to the songs and see how they have been fared.
The last song "Swing Zara"- an item song featuring Tamanaah was released later after the jukebox got released. This song got many positive reactions lets see what it has done. The last theme song got released after the film's release.

01. Raavana
Singers: Divya Kumar & Chorus
Lyrics: Chandrabose
Rating: 4.5/5
First song is completely situational and music is at its core.Immediately when one hears this song, they will remember same sort of song in Rakhi composed by DSP. This song mainly sounds like "Kallalo Kaalagni" from Rakhi, where we come across same words, beats and tune. Here NTR is portraying 3 characters and one among them is "Raavana", which appears cruel and horrific. DSP plays those typical drums which suit to the core of situation. The interludes are rich filled with those electric guitar sounds. Chandrabose, is back with his awsome creativity and plays with words in the song. Coming to vocals Divya Kumar is only the person who did'nt suit to the tee. He sounded so soothing and feeble. But some of the expressions came out wonderfully, but somehow felt he did'nt suit to the song. As DSP choose that Rakhi theme , he would have offered this song to SPB, who would completely justify the song. But this song is something fresh and new.
02. Tring Tring
Singers: Jaspreet Jazz & Ranina Reddy
Lyrics: Ramjogayya Sastry
Rating: 3/5
DSP came to his routine, song offers nothing new, nothing old. It is just created to fill the space in the film. There is nothing to speak about this song, same lyrics, same electrified tune and same modern vocals. Jaspreet sounds so soothing, but this song went out of imagination, it is neither fresh nor old, but its a song. Ranina sounds frail and dull always. Ramjogayya offers nothing new. This song may work on NTR's fans.
03. Nee Kallalona
Singers: Hemachandra
Lyrics: Chandrabose
Rating: 4.5/5
DSP comes with a different tune but somehow reminds us of his own hit old songs. This is a sweet melody mixed with ferociousness and sung in magical voice of Hemachandra. Hemachandra is back again with a bang, he sounded stupendous, his expressions while singing "teeli teeli poyya" or second stanza will surely enthrall the audience. What a singing? what an expression? What a song? take a bow Hemachandra and DSP. Nice melody immediately turns horrific in second stanza with cutting of veena strings and horrific sounds, which is sure to put our minds into the story. Chandrabose once again proves he is versatile and can handle any genre with ease.
04. Dochesta
Singers: Nakash Aziz & Chorus
Lyrics: Chandrabose
Rating: 4/5
Last song of the film is a song about Lord Krishna sung by the hero. DSP composes the song in a different way, but somehow this song was similar to that of "Guntalakidi Gumma" from Yuvaraju sung by SPB & Chitra, mostly the chorus was like that. But DSP brought out his own interludes and a song in his styles with few resemblances. The tabala as background score in the first stanza and second stanza stand as a highlight of the song. Chandrabose is too inconsistent in the song, he speaks about "puchulu, kuralu, uppulu, tippalu, tappulu, machallu, chichulu" etc which sounded comical. The chorus was amazing. At last Nakash sounds stupendous, its really surprising to listen that he is singing telugu with ease and that to with this much expression. His voice was similar to that of Udit Narayan. The last part of the song led by chorus is sure to make us dance in merriness.
05. Swing Zara (Released later)
Singers: Neha Basin & DSP
Lyrics: Ramjogayya Sastry
Rating: 4.5/5
This was the last song that got released after the whole jukebox was released, this song is an instant hit as it features Tamanaah as a special guest dancer in the song. As we all are aware there would be no Telugu movie without a mass song nor item song or peppy song atleast, & this is that song for JLK. Song hits us instantly, no need of looping, listening again, song appeals instantly. Song has good rhythm, foot tapping beats & husky vocals. This reminds me of Manisharma, who would never forget to induce melody or rhythm even in mass numbers & here DSP applied that formula, which sounded amazing. If we keenly observe excluding the heavy interludes we may remember of Khaidi No-150 background music, tune was mostly like that. But no offence song is foot-tapping. Coming to the vocals Neha & DSP did their part well, they sounded cherubic, as usual DSP rocked the song, surprisingly Neha nailed it with few issues in singing(which is common now-a-days). Neha's vocals were husky which is a weaker part of the song, this song requires energetic vocals like Mamatha Sharma or Malathi, but Neha gave her best, its ok. DSP stammered few words to match NTR's Ravana character, which sounded good. The interludes were as usual rocking, energetic & heavy. Especially the second interlude stands as a highlight. Coming to lyrics, Sastry is a good filler, I dont know why is he writing these crappy lyrics now-a-days, phrases like "neno glamour bandi vachesa swargam nundi", "andam tinna nandi" routine phrases right & absoulutely no sense, they are blended with telugish words & stiched with the tune. But somehow this song remains as a highlight for its singing & tune. At last Neha says it as "Mattu Kallu" instead of "Mathu kallu" & few more like this.
06. JLK Theme Song- Andamaina Lokam
Singers: Master Viswaprasad Ganagi
Lyrics: Chandrabose
Rating: 5/5
The last song is an emotional theme song that narrates the movie's story. I need'nt tell about the song's greatness completely owned by DSP's heart touching instrumentation. Though the song resembles "Bandhe Hain Hum Uske" Dhoom-3's theme song, it is purely made with DSP's signature. The singing violin was as its best, situational & emotional. I felt like violin was singing along with vocals, such was the feel that DSP created. The song is at peaks in its instrumentation, I need'nt tell, you must hear. Lyrics by Chandrabose were kept simple & clean suiting the situation, "Andamaina Paata"!! Coming to vocals, I knew this 11 year old kid Viswaprasad , a performer at many reality shows like The Voice Of India Kids, Lil Champs- Tamil etc, he simply gave an outstanding performance. Hope he gets more chances in future. I got surprised hearing to his perfect diction as he is basically Tamizhian.
