01. Yechacha Yechacha
Singers: Vedala Hemachandra & Chorus
Lyricist: Ramjogayya Sastry
Rating: 5/5
This is an out & out mass song composed in a pure tamil flavor & can be enjoyed by anyone. The song opens with Mano's voice over to 'Thalaiva' Rajinikanth, saying a dialogue. Then joins the noisy chorus chanting 'Yechacha Yechacha' after a while joins Hemachandra singing a song with a message that - ladies should be respected. The theme has been highlighted very well by Ramjogayya garu, he has brought the required intensity with his simple words connecting to the youth. The performance by Chorale group is power packed & sounded stupendous. Hemachandra as usual went on well. Imman made it unique, kept the beats simple & did'nt make the song clumsy with those beats making it pleasant on the ears. We can hear those marching beats all over which is absolutely perfect rhythm pattern. Song hits instantly.
02. Modalavutonda
Singers: Shreya Ghoshal & Pradeep Kumar
Lyricist: Anantha Sriram
Rating: 4.5/5
A cool romantic duet sung beautifully by the lead pair. The song opens with a minimal keyboard accompanied with mellifluous vocals humming "Chik Chik" & start singing a beautiful melody with little classism & then suddenly the song shifts the gear & like a boom Shreya gives a rockstar performance, which is electrifying & power packed, I was a bit surprised when suddenly Shreya sang in that high pitch, I could'nt even make out her voice, she was so perfect in her pitch & modulation, my goodness, mam you simply rocked the stage. Later the stanzas were kept simple again, but found their existence. Coming to lyrics, Ananth Sriram is back with this song , I guess, lately he is missing the scene, but with this song he has patched up. The phrase "Godava adutunda" is it right? Probably no! bcoz "Godavadutunda" should be one word not two, if they are splitting it it is "Godava Paduthunda" , the singers dont even have any idea about this. The phrase "neekai puuta lanti maatallo emundi neekosam nee pai cheyyi vesta choodu, nuvve pranam ani raaste emostundi pranam lo pranam ga unta needu" what a phrase? & what a singing? too nice to hear. The music by Imman , vocals by Shreya & pradeep & lyrics by Ananatha everything were in perfect synch making it a beautiful romantic melody.
03. Sadaa Manchikoraku
Singers: Hariharan
Lyrics: Ramjogayya Sastry
Rating: 5/5
The third song is a cult classic with thought provoking lyrics & evergreen vocals. How nice is it to listen to Hariharan singing this beautiful song weaved with philosophical words & devine instrumentation. The music by Imman is absolutely perfect, the Veena strings & neat magical orchestration made the song top in true music lovers playlists. Ramjogayya Sastry, what a lyric sir? take a bow.
Nothing more we can expect from this lyricist. Who could replicate that expression, untill & unless its Hariharanji. His voice is ageless & magical as usual. He made us remember that he is yet singing & has not stopped weaving magic all around with his classical voice. However song hits any one instantly & makes us realize the lyric. When all 3 departments, music+singing+lyrics excel this is the result.

04. Takkari
Singers: Adithya & Sharanya Gopinath
Lyricist: Srimani
Rating: 4/5
A routine song. This is a youthful duet between the lead pair. Almost all the movies feature atleast one this kind of song, but we have to thank Imman for not forgetting the roots of music anywhere, the end of second stanza has a bit classism filled with lilt & youthful exuberance. It might hit anyone after a loop. The song had its own pace & it is never boring, there is something going on at every moment in the song, the feeling is intense. Coming to vocals both the singers did a fare job, Sharanya was limited only to that humming & rap portions, which worked as a background score. Next I feel the word "Takkari" is said wrong at all the places. Srimani's lyrics did justice to the song, making it sound youthful, which he has been doing since past many movies.
05. Rudraksha
Singers: Benny Dayal
Lyricist: Suddala Ashoka Teja
Rating: 4.5/5
A intense solo releasing fumes of anger into air, we have heard to many of them, but this is a bit different. Though the song had a ferocious feel, it is made youthful with Benny's vocals, which did'nt gel with the tune. Again the philosophy of life is highlighted in this song by the lyricist with a different genre. Suddala who is best know for these type of songs which fills the listeners with a sigh of inspiration & motivation, has once again proved he is king of these genres. Imman used alot of drums & beats & percussion instruments, which sounded good.
06. Dark Roaster- Theme
Instrumental
Rating: 5/5
A good instrumental piece evoking the intense feel of the situation, which would work as a good background score, if matched with good visuals. The beats find its existence & the recorder which accompanied was good. The flute too sounded horrific. As per the title music matched to the tee. Mouth organ too sounded good.
07. Badaass Theme
Instrumental- Chorale group
Rating: 5/5
same intensity is carried even in this instrumental with a ample support from the chorale group. Nothing to speak about this simple orchestric piece.
