Intelligent is an upcoming 2018 Telugu film, produced by C. Kalyan on CK Entertainments banner and directed by V. V. Vinayak. Starring Sai Dharam TejLavanya Tripathi in the lead roles. Nassar,Brahmanandam,Posani Krishna Murali ,Saptagiri play a key role in the film and music composed by Thaman.

Dharam Tej, a young hero who rose to fame within very small time span & proved his prowess. But this young hero is not having a hit since last few films, but is not out of the row. After a debacle like 'Jawaan' he is back with this 'Inttelligent'. Don't know where this film places this young talent. Now'a'days there is no such thing that the hero is out if a series of his films flop, if he comes up with an interesting concept the expectations are going high. So this would be like one more chance for this young hero to prove himself. So lets see what this film does at box office.

Coming to the music, its S.S.Thaman who scored the music. Now'a'days Thaman is on a roll, all the recent films and upcoming films featured his name. Thaman has brought a  new changeover in his music, 'Mahanubhavudu' showcased that changeover, 'Jawaan' & 'Tholiprema' already proved successful in terms of music, now lets see what he has done with this. He has scored 4 tracks for the film.

01. Lets do

Singers: Sri Krishna & Saketh
Lyricist: Chandrabose
Rating: 2/5

This is a routine party song with those same template beats of Thaman. This song is not at all good in any terms, whether it is music or lyrics or even singing. We have heard many of this kinds, its not at all new. Dont know how many times this music directors will provide the same music & how many more such songs will be demanded by the directors, people are really bored of these type of songs, I could'nt bare it for more then a span of 3 minutes. Keeping all this apart, coming to lyrics, as usual Chandrabose tries to induce some philosophy but terribly fails due to the rustic tune and irritating party sounds-of which Thaman is always fond. Coming to vocals, surprisingly both the singers sounded alien & did'nt sound like their usual. Don't know whats wrong with the song, everything is a mess from the beginning. At last will I recommend it for you, probably yes with lot of reservations.

02. Chamak Cham (Remix)

Singers: S.P.B.Charan & Harini Ivaturi
Lyrics: Sirivennala Seetharama Sastry
Original Music: 'Mastero' Ilayaraja
Rating: 2.5/5

Here comes a recreation of cult evergreen classic of 90's in Thaman's style. First before everything, is it possible for anyone to atleast reach the minimum mark created by legends, Ilayaraja-Sastry garu-  SPB&Chitra- Chiranjeevi&Vijaya Shanthi.

Ok if at all it is a remix, the basic principle is the soul of the song should'nt die, but here in this remix there is no soul at all. Thaman induced all those template mass beats, taking away the feel. Next Dharam Tej is always more fascinated in recreating the old songs of legend 'Megastar' Chiranjeevi garu, all the past remixes were rage hits, but this would not, because Thaman completely spoiled the song with his signature, which did'nt gel with the song. There is no such feeling that the original was composed by 'Isaignyani', because this one did'nt even resemble 20% of the original.
Next coming to the vocals, there were legends SPB & Chitra garu with Ilayaraja in original, who stood as a backbone and aced through the vocals, it is really very tough for now'a'days singers to replicate atleast 20-40% of them, but this vocalists SPB Charan & Harini did'nt even reciprocate 10% of the original. They simply faded away. Getting Charan into this song did'nt help in any way, his voice did'nt at all gel with the song, Mano would be the best choice. Next Harini is frail, dull , artificial & powerless, is it that easy to sing like Chitra garu? never, so Harini completely went down in singing, because she tried to sing like Chitra garu, which proved to be a blunder, if she sang like herself it would be better. If the original feel must be retained none other than Chitra mam can match to that perfection, may be Sunitha partially.

Nothing could impress in the song. When the technicians cant do their best they should'nt touch those classics. So whole song is a vain. If at all we have to hear to this, that is matching this with the visauls, because I hope Dharam Tej replicates maximum charm & grace of Megastar, which we have already seen with 'Guvva Gorinka' & 'Andam Hindolam'. So only saving grace in the song would be Dharam Tej.

03. Naa Cell Phone

Singers: Jaspreet Jazz & Manisha Eerabathini
Lyricist: Varikuppala Yadagiri
Rating: 2/5

One more routine stuff, same beats, same tune, same vocals. Nothing fresh. I have nothing to speak. A song with its own limitations. Listen to it with your own reservations again.

04. Kala Kala Kalamandir

Singers: Nakash Aziz & Geetha Madhuri
Lyricist: Bhaskarabhatla
Rating: 3/5

This is a routine mass song, which is composed in Thaman's style. Song is perfect, but is very routine. The phrases 'Mind blowingey' are used from the film 'Kannullo Nee Roopame' movie, which shelved away due to unknown reasons. whatever may be the reason, Thaman is fine this time. Vocals are fine, lyrics are fine, but why I dont know nothing could impress. At last I conclude leaving the statement-  'Too Routine stuff with required perfection'.

Picks Of The Album: Nothing could impress

OVERALL RATING: 4.7/10

Remarks: This time after hatrick musical hits, Thaman ended with a disaster. Nothing in the album could impress. Lets see what the film does at BO, ATB to the whole team.
