Bharath Ane Nenu Audio Review- Telugu (2018)

Movie: Bharath Ane Nenu (2018)

Director: Koratala Siva

Producer: DVV

Cast: 'Superstar' Mahesh Bbau & Kiara Advani

Music: DSP

Lyrics: Ramjogayya Ssatry

Bharat Ane Nenu (English: I, Bharat) is an upcoming Indian drama film directed by Koratala Siva, featuring Mahesh Babu and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. It is set to release on April 20th. After Spyder- a huge debacle MB is back with a soulful story.

DSP has been roped for composing the music, after a huge successful album Rangasthalam, he has done this. Lets see how successful he is in faring this sensational projrect.

Koratala Siva, known for his Social based movies is back with this new film, which features MB as a CM. Expectations are no where less even after a huge disaster like Spyder, because he is Superstar Maheshbabu. I think there are only very few heroes in tollywood whose craze and fan base remains constant even after continues flops and one among them is Mahesh Babu. There is no hindrance in saying that he is one of the top heroes in Tollywood. I hope this type of movies should be done in bulk to teach the society a good lesson.

Putting everything aside, lets fare this album which had all the lyrics penned by RJS.

01. Bharath Ane Nenu

Singer: David Simon
Rating: 4/5

This is the theme song which got featured everywhere in the trailer, teaser, motion poster etc. Instrumentation by DSP is perfect, he simply made it sound stupendous. David Simon is a new singer and did'nt gel that well with the song, I felt like he failed in carrying the depth and intensity of the song, but in the pre-release event RJS gave a clarity, by saying that this song needed a voice which is fresh and represents the anguish of a matured man in a childish manner as the character is a novice to politics. So in that way it satisfies the song.  RJS gave some great lyrics, especially the second interlude is a sure mention. So the song is good in all aspects.

02. I Don't Know

Singer: Farhan Akhtar
Rating: 4.5/5

This is an intro song of hero I guess, as usual DSP rocked with his instrumentation, those trombones , trumpets, drums, guitars, thumba everything sounded extraordinary. Really, Farhan Akhtar- offspring of great Bollywood lyricist Javed Akhtar is a surprise element in the song. I really don't know what's the fascination in drawing Farhan into the board, he is neither a popular nor great singer, that too in Telugu, don't we have enough singers in TFI who could sing this song like Farhan? My straight question to DSP. If everything is kept aside, Farhan did a wonderful job, for god sake there are no issues in singing the proper lyrics, because most of the song is filled with Tenglish lyrics, for which RJS is always fond off, Every time when he pens those Tenglish songs they sound creepy, but this song had some great motivational phrases with amazing instrumentation, that's the reason it clicked on.

03. Vachhadayyo Saami

Singers: Khailash Kher, Divya Kumar & Chorus
Rating: 5/5

This is an out and out folk song, sung in all praises for the lead character. This song is a complete situational song sung in festive spirit. This song effectively deals with the message given to help farmers & look at the pathetic conditions that our farmers undergo, RJS tells us  not to just keep saying that our villages are backbone of country, but indeed  help in such a way that it  feeds them. Listening to the lyric, I wanna say 'Hats off RJS'. DSP once again rocked the song with his rustic instrumentation, which is goose bumping. Khailash Kher is perfect, we are already used to his voice for these kind of songs, whether it is Pandagala digivacchadu, jejamma, veede veede, its Khailash Kher's voice which made them huge hits and this would be one more into his feathered crown. But for this time he had no pronouncing issues, which is fine. Divya Kumar acted as a support in chorus, the chorus is again a sure mention. At last a rustic song made perfect in all aspects.

04. Ide Kalala Vunnade

Singer: Andreah Jeremiah
Rating: 3.5/5

This is a hi-fi intense female solo, which is always featured in Koratala's film as a stylish duet, but this time it came as a solo. Koratala demanded almost same songs like his previous films, but here there is no special song, thats it. RJS played safe with his routine lyrics. But this routine lyrics are not that creepy, quite tolerable. DSP too took lite for this song and played safe, but he had his signature written all over the instrumentation. Next the true winner is Andreah, its a quite surprise listening to her, her voice perfectly gelled to the tee. We have heard Andreah in some Ilayaraja's compositions & tis is one more beautiful song from her side. Overall a well made routine song.

05. O Vasumathi

Singers: Yazin Nizar & Rita
Rating: 5/5

Here this is a cute romantic melody. This duet is modern but mellifluous. The prelude is too pleasing, then the guitars banging at the board changed the beat and the song had its pace. This is one more modern duet like that of 'Apple beauty' or 'Charusheela', but with some great instrumentation. Inspite of routine lyrics, DSP made it sound marvelous. Yazin & Rita, signature singers of DSP rocked as usual. Inspite of so many songs from Yazin, Seethakalam remains his best till date. The veena in b/w sounded amazing. This song had a rap in b/w, just to change the pace I guess. Overall a good song. At last, did I like it, YES!! will I ask u to listen to it, surely YES!!

Picks Of The Album: Vachhadayyo, O Vasumathi, I Don't Know & Bharath Ane Nenu

OVERALL RATING: 8.8/10

Remarks: ATB to the entire team of BAN..!! releasing on April 20.
