01. Kougillalo
Singer: Chinmaye Sripada
Lyrics: Sirasri
Rating: 5/5
As soon as the song starts, one begins to draw so many comparisons from yesteryear's classics like 'Paruvam Vaanaga' song in 'Roja'. This track has been composed with inspiration drawn from that song, but Srinivasa programmed it in his own manner, I dare to say it is plagiarised, because only those first two phrases have a strong connection with that old classic, rest all song has got its own flavor and rhythm. A couple of tabla beats along with percussion start banging on the board till the end, which is a blissful experience. When this classics, get some great help from lyricists , they become evergreen. Beauty of lyrics and music has been highlighted here. Coming to the vocals, Chinmaye sets the mood of song to tee, her husky voice is a perfect choice for the song. Her lovely expressive rendition made this song a master piece. 6 minutes is a very lengthy song no doubt, but no offence,a great work by the debutant music director.
02. Avuna Nena
Singer: Karthik
Lyrics: Sai Kiran
Rating: 5/5
This is one more song from the debutant. Refreshing music and lyrics, once again make this song evergreen. Though these songs are composed in yesteryear's backdrop, they did'nt lack any contemporary style. Those beautiful tabla beats looted my heart. It has been so many days listening to refreshing tunes like this. Kudos Srinivasa for such great work. Sai Kiran's lyrics are nostalgic, they take us somewhere to school-love days. He highlights all those symptoms of a young boy who fell in love for the first time, they are really cherubic and crazy leaving the listeners in trans. Karthik's rendition is not at all usual, he is so nasal as never before. I did'nt know the reason for his modulation, but here too he sounded great.Without looking into the inlay card, its difficult to recognise that this song is sung by Karthik. Whatever it is, song is great, loved this marvelous song.
03. Ala Loni
Singer: Vijay Yesudas
Lyrics: Sai Kiran
Rating: 5/5
This is a melancholic song highlighting the theme of the film 'Suffering'. Srinivasa has brought some great tune which would stay for long and would be very effective in carrying the intensity in the film. Hats off, Srinivas for this master piece. Those percussion instruments, drums, electronic guitars everything cracked the right nut. Second interlude, showcased his prowess. The violins went weaving along the vocals, resulting in great output. Sai Kiran's lyrics will surely make us cry, don't know whats the need for such great emotion in the song, but loved it. Coming to the constituent part of the song, its Vijay Yesudas's rendition. Sir, took a bow for your singing. He deserves a standing ovation for this track. Vijay Yesudas's voice itself has some magic in it and when he mixes expression with it it becomes a treat for the listeners. A great song, stood straight with ample support from the versatile 'Vijay Yesudas'. He should be credited for this. Song is 7 minutes long!! A lengthy track, but never gives boredom. I always believe that when 7 minute long songs are made , they should sound like ARR's 'Uyire' or old Hindi classics like 'hum aapke hain koun', 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' albums, which engages the audience till the end, & this too is one more like that.
The phrases " ఉదయించిన ఊపిరి మిన్నేటికి ఆవిరి అయ్యి తీరాలి రా నువ్వు చూడాలి రా ", " కనిపించని రోధన ఎన్నాళ్లిలా వేదన " stand out, and Vijay's expression in singing these phrases rolls the teardrop.

04. Nanka Nakaranam
Singers: Srikanth Lanka & Chorus
Lyrics: Siva Krishna
Rating: 5/5
This is an out & out folk song. Composed-sung & written very effectively. What a song!! once it strikes your rhythm, never comes out of the mind. After 3 soft melodies, this song is going to set the stage into fire. This song is a perfect example, to show how a mass song should be composed. A very great work by Srinivasa Sarma. Lyrics too stand out, perfectly written, each and every word showcased the power of folk music, words are so very nicely blended with the tune. Hats off Siva Krishna. Coming to the tune, the beauty is hidden with in the beats, its like a bang when chorus and beats started simultaneously. Last interlude, is a sure mention. And its too good to hear Srikanth getting a chance in commercial films!! He has done a wonderful job. His sweet voice suited perfectly to the tee. I wonder why, this young talent is avoided by our music directors. Its shame that we relay on foreign singers inspite of having the greatest talent in our industry itself. Where as our singers do not get that due respect & footage in other industries, like how these foreign singers get in TFI. Hope atleast now we can hear to these singers now and then. Thanks to Srinivasa for recognizing our own talent.
The phrases " అటు పైరా గాలి వీచే ఇటు పిల్ల గాలి తగిలే ", " నడిచే దారే తగిలే అది చూస్తే పట్టా పగలే ", " అవి వొలకా పోసే నగలే గుండెల్లో తాపం రగిలే ", " కారు మబ్బు కురులే నా గుండె మాటున గుబులే ", " ఆ కాయిపు వాలు కనులే చూస్తే రాలు మణులే " & " నంకనకరాంమ్ నంకనకరాంమ్ " stand out.
05. Sneham Kanapadi
Singers: Srinivasa Sarma
Lyricist: Sirasri
Rating: 4/5
This is a routine melody that every college backdrop movie should have, but this song is composed in a very unique style, that interludes, beats everything trike the right chord, but tune is somewhat disappointing and dull. Srinivasa made a good attempt in singing this song, but this song does'nt give the right emotion, because his voice is too sweet and soft which made the song more dull. Vijay Yesudas might have done well, if this song has been sung by him. But overall a good song, with unique tune and great instrumentation. A short number which lasts for 2 mins.
06. Goa Beach
Singers: Yazin Nazir
Lyricist: Sirasri
Rating: 4/5
A party number connecting the youth. A song which is situational, those electrifying party beats, guitars and singing, everything is contemporary. I have nothing to speak about this. But i can surely tell that this song is quiet enjoyable, not that bad, has a good rhythm pattern and singing is beyond extraordinary. Sarma brought in the right person, for a right song. Yazin's voice mostly gels with this kind of genres. Lyrics are fine. Overall a well made song, its like a beach party song.
07. Eppudu VeruKani
Singers: Srinivasa Sarma
Lyricist: Sirasri
Rating: 4/5
One more unique melody with some great instrumentation. Sirasri's lyrics are motivational. Srinivasa modulated his voice and aced through the song. Loved his singing. Tht flute and thumba beats sum up to the instrumentation in the song. As I said tune is unique, may appeal with visuals. Sarma is mostly trying to imitate Rahman in making the music, usually who ever imitate Rahman fail terribly because Rahman is Rahman, he has his own style, but somehow Sarma managed to bring in that difference and excelled at composing music with fresh tunes.
08. Marupuraaka
Singers: P. Unnikrishnan
Lyricist: Sirasri
Rating: 5/5
One more uniquely made melody with a ting of melancholy. Those beats and tune sounds like a rehash of old songs, but instrumentation is covering up everything. Lovely interludes are filling that incomplete feel. How nice it is to hear Unnikrishnan in commercial films after many years. Unnikrishnan usually makes it soft and sweet like honey, but this time he showcased his power in singing those high octaves. But it took some time for him to pick up with song, because as he was away from singing Telugu these many days, I guess. That second interlude where Unnikrishnan and chorus sing together is blissful. A dull tune, but covered with interludes and singing. But somehow, song still lies on a boring side. But I felt Yesudas or SPB would be apt for this song, What ever it is, its too nice to hear Unnikrishnan singing again. Ty !! Sarma for reminding us of our own culture and showcasing our beauty in composing melodies.
