'Paperboy', the latest sensation of Tollywood casting the debutant Santhosh Shobhan alongside Riya Suman, has garnered positive reviews with it's different way of portraying rustic storyline. With Paperboy, I can tell that the trend of Tollywood is changing, I mean we are facing a new revolution kind thing. Only content based stories click on & rest all just fall apart, even staring a star hero in the movie, cannot change film's faith if the story is dull , it has been proven en-numerous times in recent past. So by now, all the star heroes & directors have realized this fact & are struggling to put up a 3hr integrated performance oriented scripts. So, I personally feel, this refashioned coinage is all for our good. Now, we can expect something great & praiseworthy from our lead cast & directors.
Leaving everything apart, its a known fact that film is garnering some lionized applause, but some critics claim it as a routine outdated storyline, it's an okay going film for the audience. But I have decided to review the album, after listening to some sublime songs in the movie. I personally film, an audio review post film's release is the most genuine & correct review, as the music contemporarneously sounds great only if connected with right visuals.
So, why late lets fare the album composed by 'Garuda Vega' fame Bheems Ceciroleo.
01. Paper Boy- Title Track
Vocalist: Chandrabose
Lyricist: Kasarla Shyam
Rating: 4/5
This is the opening title track, which is peppy in terms of instrumentation & rhythmic in terms of tuning. The tune & instrumentation synchronized very well. Chandrabose is really a surprising element in the song. His rendition is really exceptional. Chandrabose makes the song more interesting with his rendition, he enjoys singing every part of the song, which forms the profound expression in the song, concluding with a blissful experience. I thought, even the song is penned by Chandrabose, as it nearly reciprocated many phrases in his style, but inlay card gave me a great shock, featuring Kasarla Shyam's name, which is dubious. But everything went in hand in hand resulting in great output.
02. Chinukai Kurisindi
Vocalist: Shayihd Malya
Lyricist: Suresh Upadhyaya
Rating: 3/5
A beautiful melody, which sounds like a rehash but can be no where better than this. Tune is absolutely pleasant & neat. Kuddos Bheem's for such great instrumentation, the interlude led by recorder, bass & tabla sounded brilliant. Suresh Upadhyaya has gone safe, his lyrics sounded easy as pie, I mean uncomplicated. One thing which fell apart is vocalist's rendition which is built up with false accent as a base. Though his sweet voice overlooked all those things, his accent oozed the interest of the listeners. The word "అయ్యింది " has been on a loop until half of the song atleast, so he would have taken little care while rendering that particular word, it is like "ఆయిందీ " instead of " అయ్యింది " which sounds completely false. As I always tell, Telugu words when not uttered properly loses the nativity, same happens here, but its a very micro issue for the contemporary listeners. If not for the rendition, this song is one more from Bheems.
03. Theri Meri (Version- 1)
Vocalists: Raghuram
Lyricist: Kasarla Shyam
Rating: 4/5
An excellent tune. I can say this is an amazing tune with the most mellifluous orchestration. But there lacks a consistency in the lyrics, starting of the song has got some worst lyrics, why is there a need to start the song with some old hit hindi song? Lyricist should know, but later on lyrics too picked on & resulted in great output. "నీ వల్లే మొదలయ్యిందే దీవాలి దిల్ కి దీవాలి ", does it make some sense? This song is like a fusion of hindi, english & little telugu, which irritates alot. Vocalists did a commendable job. Overall a resistible song.
-SINGER 'RAGHURAM'
04. I Think I'am In Love
Vocalists: Shreya Ghoshal & Raghuram
Lyricist: Suresh Upadhyaya
Rating: 4.5/5
This is song, where all the listeners are gonna throw a 'wow' at it. Same mellifluous music woven all over with blissful violins. Second interlude is like a boom, sounded extraordinary. Bheems has done a very great job. Suresh Upadhyaya's lyrics are okay once again, but I'll ensure you all that, they aren't creepy at all. Shreya Ghoshal, the 'Singing Queen', 'Nightingale Of India' is back with her melodious spell bounding vocals. I dont know how does she manage to induce that extent sweetness into the song, no worry if the tune is dull neither the lyrics, her magical voice elevates everything. She sounded stupendous. But Raghuram is frail & dull, faded away with that heavy instrumentation. Overall, a song owned by Shreya Ghoshal.

05. Bombay Pothava
Vocalists: Bheems Ceciroleo & Raghuram
Lyricist: Suresh Upadhyaya
Rating: 3/5
This is a folk DJ song. This sort of songs, usually enjoyed by a particular class of people, have become a rage now'a'days. Even the recorded originals are fused with this sort of DJ mixes & beats. This song features a rap & a folk song. I have no comments listening to this, because ,the listeners who love this genres will surely love this & embrace on it. Suresh's lyrics are apt. Vocalists did a great job, but there is a huge mess in rendering the right lyric, I think its done knowingly, because usually drunken stammer few words right, I guess even this is done in that pattern, if not its a blunder by the vocalists. I did'nt understand few words in b/w the song & in that rap, which went on swiftly, with low quality of rendition, if Iam not mistaken, there is even a abusive word in b/w, If I heard it wrong, then I'am sorry for that (because even after multiple loops, I hear it as the same abusive word). Bheems' sound is some what like Goreti Venkanna garu while singing the song & like Roll Rida while singing the rap. Just a comparison. Overall a song that came as a tribute to all those Telugu folk DJ lovers.
06. Theri Meri (Version - 2)
Vocalists: Raghuram
Lyricist: Suresh Upadhyaya
Rating: 4/5
What's the difference in above one & this one?"Lyricist's name?". Same lyrics, same tune & same singing with a modified second interlude & an induced violin sound along with a added auto tuner sound to the perfect vocals!! This statement sums upto the changes in this version, you can rely on any version, both are great, but look carefully & choose, because above one is written by Kasarla Shyam & this one is by Suresh Upadhyaya, surprisingly, both wrote the same lyric!!!!!!
