01. Anangae Sinungalama
Vocalists: Hariharan, Sharanya Gopinath, Bharath Sundar, Tippu, Chirstopher,Arjun Chandy & Krish
Lyricist: Thamarai
Rating: 3/5
First song is the routine Harris Jayraj's love ballad sung by many singers. As usual it features an additional humming by the female vocalit, which will be on loop till the end, then some rustic instruments make noise with uber cool melody joining the path & with some really lovely interludes. With no exception to all these templates, Harris makes this song. Thamarai lyrics are ok. Coming to tuning it sounds contemporary, but not at all creepy. A thoroughly enjoyable number when caught with good visuals. Don't know what's the reason behind drawing too many singers, yet song did'nt sound clumsy. Hariharan is limited to very few lines, but listening to him again is good. Overall, a neat melody.
02. Dai Machan
Vocalists: Naresh Iyer, Maalavika, Deepika & Velmurugan
Lyricist: Vivek
Rating: 4/5
One more Harris' template. Instrumentation is beyond extraordinary. It almost sounds like a fusion with a deep cut b/w the prelude & the song, one might feel there are three different songs playing at a time, but to everyone's surprise Harris fuses the three like never before. That first interlude with percussion sounds awful, Thumba beats taking their space also sounds good. One best part about HJ is he never forgets to induce melody into a song, irrespective of what he composes. All the vocalists did a commendable job, but Naresh Iyer is always pellucid with his striking rendition. Vivek does his part.
03. Oru Nooru Murai
Vocalists: Sathyaprakash & Shaktishree
Lyricist: Thamarai
Rating: 4/5
One more Harris' love ballad. A mellow paced guitar at the board with HJ at the helm, who can help the song from being a masterpiece. As usual this melodious song too has a contemporary ting with a slight convectional touch, that's HJ's style. Instrumentation is neat & cool, tune is soft with a traditional flavor. Sathyaprakash & Sakthishree do their job perfectly, SP sounds heavenly. Lyrics by Thamarai are poetic. Overall a cool melody, that is almost enjoyable.
04. She's My Girl
Vocalists: Haricharan, Christopher Stanley & Mahathi
Lyricist: Rajat Ravishankar
Rating: 3/5
One more Hi-Fi melody, don't know what's the reason behind making so many such kinds. Lyricist does his job, by filling the words for the tune. Instrumentation is extant, with the same electronic guitars & steel drums. Is it Christopher who sang that rap? Probably Yes! He sounds a lot feminized in sense of tone! Haricharan is perfect along with Mahathi. This song almost sounds like a rehash of above song with some additional guitars & noise. Overall a passable song.
05. Engade Nee Ponea
Vocalists: S.P.Balasubrahmanyum
Lyricist: Kabilan
Rating: 4.5/5
This is that sorrowful break-up song. Kabilan elavates the song with his lovely poetry on break-up. HJ has now come to his full form with this finale song. Instrumentation is limited with guitars, few beats & a humming which is'nt credited. SPB gets a great chance to make space for himself with lot of improvisations which he's fond of. Without SPB this song would have got some mediocre applause. This is what a legend like SPB can do to a song, when given with a right footage. His voice is ageless neither his rendition nor expression. Overall a good song.
