'Falaknama Das' is an upcoming Telugu film directed by Viswaksen Naidu. It's the official remake of 2017 Malayalam hit film ' Anagamaly Diaries' . When comparisions are drawn in b/w those 2 teasers, we can find Telugu film to be more intense with lot of raw & mass elements shown in a very rude manner.
TFI is seeing the new side of the coin contemporarily. So let's wait and watch how this film works.

01. Falakunama Mama
Vocalists: Jessie Gift & Chorus
Lyricist: Kittu Visapragada
Rating: 4/5
First song is like an intro of love to the gang 'Falakunama'. But it's really shocking to believe that it's Vivek Sagars' composition, coz we were used for his mellifluous tunes, but this mass song from him is something to mention. Orchestration is perfect, we can title it as fun-ridden love ballad with all the mischievous sounds indicating the gang's attire. Listening to Jessie Gift is wonderful again. He is like a bottle ful of energy, his presence made the song. Lyrics too are apt. That interlude with folky touch is sonorous. Overall a neat song.
02. Daasu Bindaasu
Vocalists: Kailash Kher
Lyricist: Bhaskarabhatla
Rating: 3/5
This is that clamorous song without proper sych b/w orchestration , rendition & situation. Though the orchestration is boisterous, it doesn't mean it is a fun filled joyous track. Lyrics indicate happiness with a ting of melancholy too, while the rendition is completely melancholic. This Kailash Kher never impresses with his singing , other than few exceptions where he fits in. This is no were an exception from his routine, his accent is too bad & that high pitched singing too sounded awkward, it didn't gel with the flow of the song.
Vivek Sagar is one such music director who can never make an out & out mass song without inducing melody into it, this too is nothing new from his template. As I told initially there is no proper synchronization. The tune didn't gel with the situation, it has more of pathos affect. Lyrics are mediocre. Bhaskarabhatla known for these numbers offers nothing great nor creepy too.
03. Paye Paye
Vocalists: Rahul Sipligunj & Shiva Nagula
Lyricist: Ashok Suddhala
Rating: 5/5
This is an out & out mass song highlighting the charecter of the gang 'Falakunama'. This is such song that has rawness & acute phenomenon written all over it. This number from Vivek Sagar is once again astonishing. But this time he aced the tune as well as orchestration. One who listens to this cannot brace himself from tapping his feet & swaying his head. It's too good. I think this is the song that sketches 'Falakunama'. Suddhala Teja penning this song took this to next level, he is at his best. Rahul Sipligunj & Shiva Nagula are the show Steelers, they rocked the song. Overall this song is an aura with folky swag . For that last interlude, a bow for the unit🙌.
04. Arere Manasa
Vocalists: Sid Sriram
Lyricist: Kittu Visapragada
Rating: 3/5
Fourth one is a melody of which Vivek is fond of. Though the prelude is breath taking, that awesomeness isn't carried out throughout the song except the second interlude. Song is definitely melodious yet lacks somewhere. The way pace of the song changes didn't gel well & the way 'ఆరెరె మనాసా' is tuned also didn't synch well. If not for that orchestration, lyrics & rendition everything are perfect. Sid Sriram the youth sensation is back with one more melody. He is lovely like everytime. He sounds brilliant. Lyrics too are a great asset for the song, Kittu has done a great job. The phrase 'నూరేళ్ళకు అమ్మ అయ్యి పోయావు' is jaw dropping. Overall a song that can work with 2 or 3 attempts.
05. Tum Mile Ho
Vocalists: Kailash Kher
Lyricist: Farooq
Rating: 3/5
Fifth song is a big surprise for Telugu music lovers, coz everything is in Hindi. Vivek Sagar hasn't deviated much from his template style, the shehnayi featured at the last is a proof for it. Kailash Kher croons the song with a bit ease as it's comfortable for his tone & it's a genre that he usually gets to sing in Hindi. Truly speaking this a melodious cover with love written all over it. Orchestration is on the mellow notes with convectional instruments taking over it. Farooq's lyrics are poetic & simply brilliant. Don't know what would be the situation but this song when caught with right visuals takes it's pace.
