Film wrapped it's pre release event on 1st May, with a release of theatrical trailer.

Coming to music, as usually DSP is roped in for the compositions. However so, DSP has been terribly failing in providing good music to films now'a'days, so let's see what he has done to this film. Shreemani got a solo card. They released 5 songs as per the existing single song release trend, later pre release had jukebox release with an additional song. Later again on 4 May, they released the 'soul of rishi' a theme song.

01. Choti Choti Baatein

Singers: DSP
Rating: 2/5

A song on friendship, which appears like a rehash of DSP's own songs. Shreemani who is known for sublime lyrics, takes off his route gives some cringe here. No phrase in the song seems captivating. Everything is a drill, starting from the  tune to the vocals to the lyrics to the situation. Don't know why directors force these type of grooved funky songs again & again. As DSP himself, says when movie's situation appears fresh, then music automatically sounds fresh. Here main drawback is the situation, so song's on off side. Nothing more about this, it's a creep for the fans, because they would have expected alot, otherwise it's an mediocre song.

02. Nuvve Samastham

Singers: Yazin Nizar
Rating: 3/5

I think this is the intro song of the hero with all those hypothetical phrases elevating the hero's character like never before, even sometimes some phrases sound unprecedented, of which Shreemani is very fond of, his all title songs to protagonist sound in that similar way. Lyrics are really fine this time. The tune is electrifying, with all those banging guitars & steel drums, yet the tune appears formulated. Don't know whats' really wrong with DSP, hes' letting all the opportunities down, everything sounds similar, like "it's already heard before", which is really disgusting. If its a yah for lyrics & orchestration, it's a nah for the tune & DSP. Coming to the rendition, Yazin sounds as usually nasal with his westernized style of singing, though he gets to sing many songs in Telugu, he never impresses with his diction. Overall, a routine song for music lovers & might be a feast for fans.

03. Everest Anchuna

Singers: Hemachandra & Vishnupriya
Rating: 2/5

One more method song, this is that hi-fi stylish duet song for the lead pair. Shreemani offers nothing great nor nothing creep. DSP is the usual, he had no bumps here too, it sounds like a rehash or a programmed song of 'Seeti maar' with eventually a slow tempo, thats' it, there's nothing crisp. Hemachandra, is  really a great singer, but dont' know why he tries to bring in all those false influences in his voice which sounds trash. When ever he's given songs like this, he tries to imitate Sonu Nigam, in bringing in all those falsetto which sounds heavenly in Sonu's voice, but not with Hemachandra's voice. Vishunupriya is just amazing, but the sad part is she does'nt get right footage.

04. Padara Padara

Singers: Shankar Mahadevan
Rating: 4/5

This is a situational with rising hope in needy as a backdrop. It sounds really great to listen to these kind of songs, the credit goes to directors & Mahesh Babu, we always get to listen to atleast one of these kinds in almost all of his films. A hero isnt' just a commercial handsome hunk, but he should be a spokesman who delivers particular message to the society for the welfare. We should really commend protagonists like Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Rajini Kanth, Vijay who take up society as their responsibility & try to work on them in their films as well as in their real life. If not for this, Shreemani is just brilliant, every phrase is thought provoking. The only saviour of the song is Shreemani. DSP is completely out of form, his tune appears orthodox, somewhere heard before. Orchestration is brilliant, interludes are really well made but could'nt help the song. Shankar Mahadevan too sounds aged & strained. It took me few moments to believe that he is singing Telugu, because it sounded like Tamil. Mahadevan is known for his high pitched renditions, but dont' know why every time he took that high pitch, he sounded dumb, all the motes sounded flat there. Overall a pretty good song, which can be enjoyed with visuals.

05. Paala Pitta

Singers: Rahul Sipligunj & M.M.Manasi
Rating:2.5/5

This is that folk or mass song which is a custom of Telugu commercial films. As situation is'nt raw, music too sounds conservative. Tune is like a rehash of DSP's old songs, yet reminds of 'Megham karigenu' from Naaga movie. Shreemani plays safe. Rahul is amazing like usual, Manasi is on off side in this song, she just sounds sweet & frail, but not at all powerful. May be fans would like this number, but seriously this is one more passable song from DSP.

06. Phir Shuru

Singers: Benny Dayal
Rating: 2/5

One more hero elevation song. One really becomes heady with this song. Those beats, guitars, voclas, tune, lyrics everything are infuriating. This song almost sounds like A.R.Rahman's 'Sadda Haqq' with a lot slow tempo & rhythm. DSP induces those flutes etc, but nothing could save this song. May be this too is for MB's fans.

07. Ide Kada- The Soul Of Rishi

Singer: Vijay Prakash
Rating: 4.5/5

This is an absolute intense theme song with the required emotion. DSP impresses atleast with this one song, tune, orchestration, vocals everything are on right track. Lyrics by Mani are fantastic, every expression was thought provoking. This too had the essence of those high elevation phrases towards protagonist, hypothetical!! But that swag was needed. Well done Mani. It's a cat walk for Vijay Prakash, he is such a singer who doesn't need any introduction, & this rendition is spell bounding, he sounds awful. Overall a neat song.

Picks Of The Album: Ide Kada Ide Kada

OVERALL RATING: 5/10

REMARKS: DSP terribly fails in this album too like his before projects. Dont' know what's really wrong with him, no song could appeal here, if at all someone likes a song here, that would be 'padara padara' & 'ide kada' for it's keen in lyrics & trust in MB. This is one of the biggest audio failtures in MB's career. Dont' know in what way it's gonna affect the film. If not for that, a very all the best for the Superstar & his team, expecting a huge success for his 25th film.
