Movie: Prati Roju Pandage- 2020 (ప్రతిరోజు పండగే)

Director: Maruthi

Producer:  Bunny Vaas

Cast: Sai Dharam Tej & Raashi Khanna

Music Director: S. S. Thaman

Music Label: Lahari Music

'Pratiroju Pandage' directed by the director on roll with few hits & mediocre films- Maruthi. Casting Sai Dharam Tej & Raashi Khanna along with senior actors like Sathyaraj garnered some hype all over. Let's wait & watch what this film has to tell us about.

Coming to the music, the recent sensation Thamman is on the board. Right from 'Saamajavaragamana' s success, Thamman has absolutely become busy with en-number of chances. Every upcomming film is featuring his name. Kuddos for his toil . He has become like DSP no or less, every movie wants his music to uplift their movies' success rate. Now let's fare this film's music.

01. Prathiroju Pandage- Title Song

Vocalists: Sri Krishna
Additional Vocals: Ramya Behra, Sahithi, Sathya Yamini & Mohana Bhogaraju
Lyricist: Krishna Kanth
Rating: 2.5/5

Here is a  so called title song with melody taking the major pie. This is a song which describes about the same old importance of relations & merry in maintaining a healthy family bonding. Song's main aim is to tell the audience that every day is a celebration when we are sharing every single thought with our loved ones.  Thaman is back with his template tune & elements. Tuning was'nt proper from the beginning itself, the drums take away the soul, they are unnecessarily beaten throughout the song, rather he would have substituted them with a mridungum or tabla. Lyrics do nothing here, they are simple & wonted. Sri Krishna sounds fine, but felt like he has been too soft for this, orchestration dominated his mellifluous rendering. All the female leads too sounded great.  Overall, a mediocre song.

02. Oo Bava

Vocalists: Sathya Yamini, Mohana Bhogaraju & Hariteja
Lyricist: Krishna Kanth
Rating: 2/5

This is a complete contrary song to the above one. The only thing that is common are those heavily beaten beats, once again which get a major pie, even in this song. Lyrics  again do nothing, here too. Song is all about the heroine's sisters asking their brother-in-law to  take care of her beloved sister!! They even convince their sister by saying that he is really innocent, cute & hot, so there by asking her to marry him. It's a simple song which has'nt got that great footage, but sounds good. All the female vocalists do the prerequisites. Thaman plays safe here.

03. Takita Takita

Vocalists: Rahul Sipligunj & Geetha Madhuri
Lyricist: Kasarla Shyaam
Rating: 2/5

Here's a bday song to everyone's surprise influxed with heavy party beats & a ting of mass DJ rehash. Thaman will be the same, his compositions sound formulated but the thing is they aren't creepy or boring. I think this is the song which celebrates the grandfather's bday at a pub as shown in the lyrical video, hopefully SDT enthrals his fans with some grooving steps. Lyrics have nothing much to do. Rahul sounded good, his voice has that energy & charm. Listening to Geetha after many days sounded great, she's back to her usual routine, she to sounds safe. I think that is Geetha who sang that phrase "kottara DJ" in a cheesy way, which evokes laughter, i think thaman made her sound intentionally like that. Overall a song that appeals if you're a fan of Thamman!!

04. Chinnathaname

Vocalist: Vijay Yesudas
Lyricist: Sirivennala Seetharama Sastry
Rating: 3/5

This is a peaceful melody with melancholy taking the lead backdrop. One who listens to this track is in dubeity whether is it Thamans'composition!! It's too good & something that Thaman has never tried!! This track is a tribute to all the grand parents & children, song speaks about childhood, old-age & a whole lifecycle of grandfather & his son-in-law.  There is a ting of philosophy which is beautifully woven into the song!! Sastry gaaru is such a great lyricist, he keeps proving this time & again. The phrase "తాతగా తల పండిన తండ్రి తనమే ఎండునా??" What a great thought!! Hatsoff Sastry gaaru!!
Coming to the rendition, Vijay Yesudas is a major plus to the song, he is known for such renditions & he does it like a pro. His voice has all the magic, thoroughly enjoyed his rendition. Glad to listen to him after many days!!

05. You're My High

Vocalists: Raashi Khanna, Rahul Nabhiyaar & Deepu
Lyricist: Srijo
Rating: 2/5

This is that electrifying track which always tries to showcase that it's a youthful number. Song is surely different, it starts with Raashi rendering few slow tempo phrases with absolutely blissful voice, then there comes a electric guitar BGM, which stands as highlight to the song, but felt like already heard in some A.R.Rahmans' composition yet song has got its pace. Lyrics are mediocre. Singers do the prerequisites. Overall, I'll recommend the song with lot of reservations.

Picks Of The Album: Chinnathaname & Thaman

OVERALL RATING: 6/10

Remarks: To frankly speak, Thaman has done justice to the music, songs cannot be any better, though tunes went on for yayy & nahh, they all were fresh & Thamans' toil is pellucid. ATB to the entire unit, film's releasing on 20/12/19, go watch it in your nearest theaters.
