The movies title is taken from a song in the old film "Kanchukota", just one becomes nostalgic listening to the title "sarileru Neekevvaru", one is immediately reminded of that epic song sung by the legends P.Susheela & S.Janaki, which is composed by K.V.Mahadevan  & lyrics by C.Narayana Reddy garu.

01. Sarileru Neekevvaru- Title Song

Vocalists: Deepak Blue & Chorus
Lyricist: DSP
Rating: 3/5

A song which gives a perfect tribute to the 'Indian heroes'- soldiers.  Orchestration is simply superb, however templated by DSP, it sounds great. DSP writing the lyrics, gives a surprise, though he has written many in past, this is something new, as lyrics demand something laudable & DSP aces through that part. There might come 100 more songs & movies on this same backdrop every time it's a special one to watch them fight for our nation, but no matter how many times we praise them we yet lack words to salute their deeds. This is one such song which is like a perfect tribute to their toil & sacrifices. Thanks to the team & Mahesh Babu, for every time reminding the audience about their responsibility towards society. Coming to the tune, that starting bit of music appears like a straight away inspiration from the recent Malayalam hit song- 'Poomuthole' yet song has got its keen. Singing is quite engrossing, male singers' voice is damn good & all the chorale singers do their justification to the tune. Overall, a song that is short & sweet.

02. Mind Block

Vocalists: Blaze, Ranina Reddy & ft. Mahesh Babu
Lyricist: Srimani
Rating: 1/5

Here's a song to everyone's surprise with one of the most creepy tune & cheesy lyrics that we haven't heard in any of MB's films. DSP thought that drawing in the superstar into the song to dub some phrases would garner attention, but he didn't realise that these all typical mass genres are already popular & any of such genres again would be intriguing for the music lovers to digest. Here we have Blaze limited to a rap & Ranina Reddy rendering a sensuous tune is really awkward, whole songs' like a dialogue & an interlude followed by an irrelevant rap & finally ends the song with irritating beats. Sincerely, it's one of the worst compositions of DSP, seriously a big "NO" to the song.

03. Suryudivo Chandrudivo

Vocalist: B Praak & Chorus
Lyricist: Ramjogayya Sastry
Rating: 2/5

A song that has been a common asset in the superstars' almost all the films, it really feels nice that heroes like MB, Rajini Sir & Pawan Kalyan gaaru not only make movies for money but their movies' bring in a strong message to the viewers. This is a track which just elevates the protagonist with all the hypothetical phrases & metaphors of which the lyricist is very fond of. Tune is mediocre, yet it sounds fine on loops. However lyrics are sublime & Sastry aces through it. As DSP is fond of getting in different sort of singers, here's the 'Filhaal' fame bollywood singer B Praak. He sounds wiered coz he's an alien to the language. His accent is too fake, but yet DSP puts in lot of effort to make him sound like the regular singer!! But my question is why to bring in such singers & work too hard to perfect them?? When we ourselves have enough singers !!

04. He's So Cute

Vocalist: Madhupriya & Chorus
Lyricist: Srimani
Rating: 3.5/5

This is an out & out folk song that aptly is a tribute to the charming hero. Srimani made sure that all the MB's female fans go bonkers listening to this number, as they too have the same feeling towards their fairy tale hero!! I can assure you that DSP brings in that vintage charm & grace which is missing in his now-a-days compositions. As I tell always, he is fond of the second interlude, he stuffs all the magic into that, that peppy chorus & mellow guitar notes woven swiftly leaves the listeners in trans.

DSP knew very well to get which singer on to the board, Madhupriya sounds too good!! She's queen of such genres, we all know it, she nailed it!! She just sounds like how her composer asked her to sing, as DSP always makes his singers sound so peculiar & they sound too special.Overall it's a good song, atleast now fans might be happy.

05. Sarileru Neekevvaru- Title Song (Version-2)

Vocalist: Shankar Mahadevan
Lyricist: DSP
Rating: 3/5

This is the same song with Shankar Mahadevan at vocals. When there are versions of particular song, comparisons are common, as of my opinion both sound great, but the above one is perfect, singer's voice is too good there. DSP at lyrics, did a praiseworthy job, every phrase gave goosebumps. This song has more pomp & color & more over sounds like an extended version to the above one. Shankar Mahadevan, is known for confident high pitched renditions, but struggles initially to sing the lower octaves, but later as song progresses his energy becomes too low, the chorus sounded more good!! don't know if he was okay on that recording day, I expected a high voltage performance from him, felt DSP would have recorded this with SPB or Vijay Prakash without straining Shankar Mahadevan. Overall, this is a feast for the listeners & fans too.

06. Dang Dang

Vocalists: Nakash Aziz & Lavitha Labo
Lyricist: Ramajogayya Sastry
Rating: 2.5/5

This one is a "special number" or so called "item song", cashing the New years' eve, the unit released the track on 30rth. This might be a feast to the fans,  coz song's no less then a celebration. Mahesh Babu rocking the stage with mass steps alongside the "cameo appearance" of Thammanna, just made all the audience go bonkers!! But when lyrical videos reveal a way too much, it takes away the feel, this is one such number. DSP leaves no stone unturned when it comes to a mass number, he is always fond of tuning single word phrases like "tauba tauba", "swing zara", "diyyalo diyyala", "bunny bunny", "kevvu keka" & now it's "dang dang"!! yet love his mass numbers. Song appears like a formulated one, but no it cannot be any better!! this is how it should be. Female vocalist sounded great, DSP's singer Nakash also does justice. Coming to the lyrics, Ramjogayya, we all know he's a great filler, he gets in all the words for the tune without any effort & they too will'nt make any effort on us. Whole song is like "dang dang dang dang", I did'nt listen to any other phrase!! Overall, it's a feast to the fans as I told, but I can recommend music lovers too peep in for the haunting folk number.

Picks Of The Album: It has got everything, go pick whatever you want!!

OVERALL RATING: 6/10

REMARKS: This is all & all family entertainer, songs tell you about that. Album has got all the flavors & genres, 1 mass number, 2 situationals, 1 female intense number & an item song, so what else would fans expect for!! This album cannot be any better. Just DSP's album!! leaving a 2 or three, every song has kept it's pace. This pongal, the superstar along with the lady superstar are ready to loot our hearts with their performance, so lets' hope for all the good & wishing them a very all the best!!
