Once again, here's one more album composed by Thamman.

01. Venky Mama- Title Song

Vocalists: Sri Krishna
Additional Vocals: Mohana Bhogaraju
Lyricist: Ramjogayya Sastry
Rating: 2.5/5

We have songs on "Amma, Nanna, Chelli, Anna, Atta, Tatha, Ammamma" & now it's time for a song on Mama!! TFI never leaves a single stone unturned when a sentiment works on, as it is known that emotions & relations have some greater connection with south Indian films, so this film goes on with that formula as suggested by the title. Whole song is like a tribute to Venkatesh by Naga Chaithanya. That 'bromance' b/w nephew & uncle is highlighted to extent by the lyricist, Sastry uses the stardom of Venkatesh to cash his lyrics, he keeps on writing phrases like " వరసకేమో ఓరయ్యో వీళ్లిద్దరు మామా అల్లుళ్లే ఆ వయస్సు తేడా తీసేస్తే పక్క అల్లరి పిల్లొళ్లే ", all such phrases aiming at fans will'nt garner attention of serious music lovers. A song is'nt a chartbuster when hype is created, but it's a blockbuster only when there is some stuff in that. I don't know when will the lyricists know this difference. So, there by lyrics offer nothing but hype. Thaman as usual, comes back to his form templates his tune with his trademark, they appear the same old & lack fresh. Sri Krishna is soft, quiet lacking energy. Mohana does a great job, she's know for such high pitched renditions. Overall a song which I can suggest with lot of reservations.

02. Yennallako

Vocalist: Prithvi Chandra
Lyricist: Sri Mani
Rating: 2/5

Here we go with one more retro party number with lot of charm & energy yet lacks synchronization. All the electric guitars, trumpets & jazz pianos sound awful giving a feel like of Ilaiyaraaja or MSV's party numbers. Thaman offers something new yet the song lacks sync as told before, lyrics are funny evoking laughter & chorus is modernized or auto tuned with couple of yells "venky mama, venky mama". Prithvi Chandra never impresses with his singing, generally he adds all those westernized affects to the song unasked, & when given with such fun-retro-party numbers, he improvises a lot giving a complete nasal affect & a very fake accent to the song. Dont' know if it's a fun song, but felt like lyrics & rendition should be on a serious note. Overall, once again i suggest you to listen to this, if your'e fan of Venkatesh or Thaman, if your'e neither of the category, then this song depresses you.

03. Coco Cola Pepsi

Vocalists: Ramya Behra, Adithi Bhavaraju, Simha & Hanuman
Lyricist: Kasarla Shyaam
Rating: 1/5

Here's a routine song which almost finds place in almost every commercial film. It's a mass song which is typically programmed by Thaman in a rehash of his old tunes, there's no keen or fresh in the song to stay on it. Lyrics are completely 4th grade, they don't even deserve a mention. One thing that every lyricist should note is that, writing hypothetical phrases / using the stardom of heroes will'nt help in garnering music lover's attention, he uses Venkatesh sir's  old song lyrics "balapam patti Bhama bollo" to cash the fans but terribly failed in acing through it!! A song that I'll recommend to stay out of it!!

04. Nuvvu I Nenu You

Vocalists: Anurag Kulkarni & Nanditha Jyothi
Lyricist: Srimani
Rating: 2.5/5

Though appears like a rehash or reminds us about Thamans' old tunes, yet song has not lost it's flavour & fresh!! Srimani plays safe, his lyrics follow the success formula, they just fill up the space. Vocalists are amazing, Anurag is sweet, but felt that he should have put efforts in singing the right lyrics, he had issues with many phrases. Nandithas' voice is just awesome, she sounded too good. Overall it's a love ballad with mellifluous notes woven perfectly with a blend of western touch!!

Picks Of The Album: It's nothing!! Nothing could make a mark!!

OVERALL RATING: 4/10
