Ala Vaikuntahpuramlo Audio Review- Telugu (2020)
Movie: Ala Vaikuntahpuramlo- 2020
Director: Trivikram Srinivas
Producer: Chinna Babu & Allu Aravind
Cast : 'Stylish Star' Allu Arjun & Pooja Hegde
Music Director: S. S. Thaman
Music Label: Aditya Music
'Stylish Star' Allu Arjun is on a low side with couple of films recently failing at the box office & is now ready to give a bang at any cost with "Ala Vaikuntahpuram". Hope that this film gives him all the success.
Trivikram who is ample of talent always keeps dangling on a line of hits & flops, that's how inconsistent he is in making films, if one film is extraordinary the other one never assures succes, coz it's Trivikram, don't know what he does to films sometimes. Let's wait & watch for what it has to do in the market.
If coming to music, Thaman is on roll & he'll be on roll everytime for his keen in templating his tunes. He's again like Trivikram in terms of composing, don't know how the outputs turn to be, when he's on the board. Coz, when one film goes for a blockbuster then don't know what happens to the next, it doesn't even have a basic storyline, like Trivikram, he too sounds damn inconsistent. One album goes for a hit, then cannot guarantee the other. But, i think surely this album gives a bang to him. So let's directly fare the album.
01. Saamajavaragamana
Vocalist: Sid Sriram
Lyricist: Sirivennala Seetharama Sastry
Rating: 3.5/5
This is that song which needs no intro, it has took social media by strom post it's release, with tremendous response & applause from every corner to inch, making it a huge chartbuster!! Thaman though formulated the tune with his routine elements, lyrics won right there with their fresh & keen kept intact. When ever Trivikram collobarates with Sastry gaaru, there is some magic that always happens which makes the listeners to go bonkers about it. Every phrase in the song needs a mention, they are too great & words fall in short to describe the lyricist 's talent. Just took a bow!!
- SEETHARAMA SASTRY
Coming to the vocals, Sid Sriram the youth sensation, creates one more sensation with the same melodious path, suiting his vocal genre. All the credit goes to his magical voice, yet felt that he should be much more expressive & sing it with a charm, & as i always tell Telugu should sound Telugu , otherwise the nativity is gone, here this rendition lacks that nativity. Otherwise it's a wonderful song. Thaman excells par here in tuning & synchronisation, his toil is pellucid. Kudos for his hardwork!! Overall it's a chartbuster & needn't to be commented again.

02. Raamulo Raamulaa
Vocalists: Anurag Kulkarni & Mangli
Lyricist: Kasarla Shyaam
Rating: 2.5/5
This is an out & out mass number which sets the backdrop to a rocking dance floor. Thaman like usual, gets back to his templates, surprisingly which sounds like a clone of his routine mass tunes, I meant this isn't different from his usual yet sounded fresh. Track gives a great scope to the rocking protagonist to rock the stage with his moves. lyrics are formulated, astonishingly a party song is supported with a plenty of folk beats & rustic lyrics. Mangli is a huge surprise here, it's great that she's getting to sing film songs too. She sounds perfect, however limited to 3-4 phrases. Anurag is slowly taking the place of Tippu, Shankar Mahadevan or KK in the industry & tries to get atleast 20-30 songs in a year & nevertheless he's king of genres, fits into any song & sounds stupendous- The fluid artist. Overall a well made song yet lacks something, may be innovativness.
03. OMG Daddy
Vocalist: Rahul Sipligunj
Rap: Rahul Nambiyar, Roll Rida & Lady Kash
Additional Vocals: Blazee
Lyricist: Krishna Chaitanya
Rating: 2.5/5
This song is surely gonna take you on a ride on fun & laughter. Every father at some point in life behaves like a "villain" towards his son/daughter, so the backdrop here in the song is it concentrates more on such context evoking lot of fun. Thaman is on roll, he gives one more chartbuster. Instrumentation is too peppy & rocking. All the vocalists strike gold in rendition, Rahul Sipligunj does the prerequisites with his charming vocals. Roll Rida & Rahul Nambiyar are thrown to background surprisingly as rap singers.
Coming to the main point, lyricist goes a mile extra to write a ultra fun number, but does it so hyper that he writes a phrase "Amma mogudu dummy gaadu", really don't know what's the context in the film, but usage of such phrases shows lot of disrespect to father, where we consider father as an idol in orthodox families & using such phrases showcases lyricist's illiteracy. Rest of the song plays safe with the words, lyricist uses "pichha, chicha, macha" etc as rhymic words, which just fill up the space, rather then acting as meaningful lines. Overall if that phrase is overlooked it's a peppy song which is already a rage.
04. Butta Bonna
Vocalist: Armaan Malik
Lyricist: Ramjogayya Sastry
Rating: 2.5/5
Here's a song that every hero dedicates to his girl. Thaman simply nailed it, he's on high as I told already, everything is in perfect sync evoking lot of love towards the backdrop & the track too. Lyrical video doesn't reveal a much, they made it simple & stuffed all the surprises to the big screen!! -'A completely Trivikram styled song, with Thaman templating the song with his gestures'.
Coming to the main point, like usual the inconsistent lyricist is drawn to maintain same old inconsistencies in his lyric, "Ammu, thummu, nammu, gummu" etc are absolutely in rhyming rather then giving an effective meaning. Why is there a need to make it "ammu" inspite of "amma", is it for rhyming again?? Except the first stanza nothing in the song deserves a mention!! Armaan Malik whose known for mellifluous renditions, loses a point here for just being the creep in the song as he had multiple issues in singing the right lyric. Every word needed a correction in the song, I don't understand where will be these lyricists & unit members who say that they take utmost care in extracting the right lyric from the non-telugu singers!! My straight question to Sastry gaaru!!

05. Saamajavaragamana- Cover Version
Vocalist: Shreya Ghoshal
Lyricist: Sirivennala Seetharama Sastry
Rating: 3.5/5
Here's the most haunting & sensational song presented as a female cover version. It's literally a celebration for all the ShreyaGhoshal's fans, because it's purely a song made for her fans. I thought that they would change the lyrics as it's being sung by a female lead singer, but it's normally presented as a cover with same lyrics. Thaman has programmed the instrumentation & changed it typically, but felt like above version sounded great. If not for ShreyaGhoshal, instrumentation isn't upto the mark. Coming to the rendition, as I repeatedly keep telling, this versatile singer is a 'princess off-screen' , she keeps proving this fact time & again, she's great, she'll sound brilliant, no doubt in that. Loved every improvisation that she made & the way she rendered few dynamics results in adrenaline rush!! Loved the song!!

06. Ala Vaikuntahpuramlo- Title Song
Vocalists: Priya Sisters, Sri Krishna & Chorus
Lyricist: Kalyan Chakravarthy & Bammera Pothana (Sloka)
Rating: 3.5/5
To everyone's expectations here's that Trivikram template driven song, Trivikram is one such director who can influenze the music directors, like his usual elements he never forgets to induce that traditional carnatic touch in every of his movies. After Deva Devam, Swagatham Krishna, now it's time for a poem written by the great telugu poet 'Bammera Pothana', as to the title director used that poem from 'Mahabhagavatam' - Gajendra Moksha shatkam.
"ఆలా వైకుంఠపురంబులో నగరిలో మూలసాధంబు దా
పల మందార వానఅంతరామృతసార్వప్రాంతేందుకాంతోపలో
త్పల పర్యనక రామవినోది యగు నాపన్నప్రసాన్నుండు వి
హ్వల నాగేంద్రము పాహి పాహి యన గుయ్యాలుంచి సంరంభియై "
Which means- "In that Vaikunta abode , in the beautiful Palace near lotus pool,on the bed of flowers, Lord Sri
Hari was playing dice with his consort Sri Lakshmi "!! So, nice that now'a'days movies too feature such great epics in the films. Thanks to Trivikram. Coming to the song, it's like a fusion, after the beautifully rendered sloka song shifts to a fast paced number which too sounds great. It might be a song which features the entire cast. Priya Sisters, whose renditions take us to trans everytime will'nt let this number too go from their hands. Their stalwart carnatic base is pellucid & thanks to thaman for letting them sing like their usual. They are just blissful. Sri Krishna, Thaman's singer, does the prerequisites but had issues syncing the tune & lyrics, lyricist writes it like a poem rather than a song, therefore making it complicated for the singer to render yet it's a decent job by Krishna!! Overall, a unique composition which needs to be applauded.
