Pushpa is the upcoming telugu language Film getting released across languages all over the world on Dec 17, 2021. With this film Allu Arjun attains a 'Pan Indian' status proving himself as a sterling material which fits Indian cinema.

No more comments, you all know what Pushpa is doing at the piazza!! It's a euphoria, every minute detail about Pushpa is on trend & the film slated to release in two parts is something to long for. Allu Arjun, the actor with lot of grace & knack needs nothing much rather than this sort of hype & rage. With Pushpa Arjun is set to cross all the boundaries, came out of his comfort zone & putting forward all of him to take Telugu cinema to a different elevation. All the best to him & wishing him all the success in this wonderful journey.

Sukumar, the man who tacked his position at the Top 5 best directors of Tollywood with Rangasthalam is coming back with Pushpa to enthrall the audience. However there are many similarities between his yesteryear film & upcoming film, we cannot draw conclusions so soon, let's wait & see.

Coming to the music department, obviously it's none other than Devi Sri Prasad who is at helm for Sukumar since his first film & that legacy goes on. Chandrabose gets the solo card like the previous film. As the film is releasing across languages, songs get a mixed flavour. So, no more delay, lemme get into the album.

01. Daakko Daakko Meka

Vocalists: Shivam, Devi Sri Prasad & Chorus
Additional Vocals: VM Mahalingam
Rating: 2/5

Album opens with a rustic number with some weird lyrical work & formulated music. Many expectations were on board for DSP, but I felt he couldn't match to those! May be songs reached millions of views & a lot of hype, but I don't find anything special in this number. Chandrabose described photosynthesis in detail & I don't know, why is it required here?!! As I keep telling, cannot draw conclusions before the movie's release. So, we have to wait to know, why this song's in that particular way. Vocalist does a commendable job, but sounds like DSP everywhere, maybe it's him who wanted the singer sing like that. That hook sound "vooyyii" too didn't appear any specific, felt like monotony. A simple DSP formulated tune, that's it.

02. Srivalli

Vocalist: Sid Sriram
Rating: 3.5/5

Now comes the romantic anthem that is ruling almost all the playlists & topping charts like never before & I feel, this song deserves that hype. But talking about the backdrop, I feel Sukumar is cloning his yesteryear's film Rangasthalam, isn't this the replacement of "Yentha Sakkagunnave"? Film should answer the question.
Sid Sriram, the beauty ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ˜˜ what a voice man!! Really awestruck with his rendition. He's been improving alot off-late & his dedication is absolutely brilliant! No matter, what he's singing & irrespective of which language he's singing in, it's just of top notch rendition. All the credits to his cherubic voice.
DSP & Chandrabose too share their part of credits, both of them ace too!

03. Saami Saami

Vocalist: Mounika Yadhav
Rating: 2.5/5

Here comes again a clone of Sukumar's backdrop, the replacement of "Rangamma Mangamma" ? Why are they simply formulating the things, is it for easy success? Probably if that's true, my answer is no!! We true cinema & music lovers hate repetition!
Leaving that apart, this song is a bit strange & awkward. May be the song topped charts, viewed million times, liked by thousands, but still, in my opinion it's a mediocre song. Why all the hype? Tune isn't any special, neither the lyrics or backdrop! Then why all the hype? Coz it was intentional to create that fake hype. The same DSPish beats & tune, nothing special, may be the vocalist is the only savior, with her exuberance she stood like a star in the song, great such folk singers are getting to sing in films nowadays. All the language singers sounded almost similar, maybe DSP wanted it like that. Chandrabose- I dunno what to comment, he wrote all those phrases that aim at B & C centres, but I personally opine they can be a bit more better, some phrases literally made people go in embarrassment & such shouldn't be the aim of lyricist. I felt Chandrabose is degrading himself by writing such lyrics, people like him should be inspirational, let the lyrics be decent but convey the meaning fitting the backdrop, I mean that they shouldn't cross limitations & felt like this song crossed such threshold & boundary conditions & that's fairly not acceptable.

04. Eyy Bidda

Vocalists: Nakash Aziz & Chorus
Rating: 3/5

Overall, so far a good & praiseworthy song in the album. Though felt like the backdrops getting repetitive, this song clicks on. Nakash Aziz, the voice of energy, never fails to impress. He sounded damn good. DSP & Chandrabose play safe here. Like they do nothing special, but song has everything that fans demand & so it is a hit number.

05. Oo Antaava Mawa

Vocalist: Indravathi
Rating: NA

What's wrong with the direction, music & the lyricist? Is this the content people are expecting from such ace department of crew & cast? What happened to the values & ethics, what are you trying to portray with this number? I know, an item number can go to few extents, break boundary lines for the sake of entertainment, just for the sake of entertainment, but till which boundary, which limitation, which extent? There's a limitation & these people are truly aware of all those, but still such hopeless content thrown onto people? What do you expect from us now, awards & rewards? My straight questions to cast & crew of the film. If I were the censor team, would have removed the song & imposed fine too for creating such cringe. This is not we expect from such talented group of people. There is always a limit in cinema & when you cross it, get ready to face the rage from critics. Chandrabose lost my respect for him, it's embarassing & humiliating to hear to such cringe of lines from his pen. Gone are those days, where vulgarity was the main source of element in a commercial film, & people should condemn these sorts very strictly, irrespective of which hero or director involved in that cringe.
In my opinion this song doesn't deserve my review. Maybe it's the most viewed song in the YT, no body cares, atleast I wouldn't, when it comes to delivering quality content, this song doesn't have that quality nor content!! Shame on people creating such stuff & also pity on people enjoying it & insults & curses to those people backing it up!!

Picks Of The Album: Srivalli

Overall Rating: 4/10

A totally inconsistent album from DSP. It's simply overrated. In my opinion, these songs don't deserve what they have got. Songs are just of mediocre quality, I know I shouldn't expect much, but I feel these composers of more than a decade experience & almost 25+ super hit albums, shouldn't take their form for granted & deliver such mediocre content & top of it expecting laurels & praises. I down vote this album๐Ÿ‘Ž purely a mistake on DSP, Chandrabose who forgot his range & degraded himself with filth of lyrics & Sukumar for creating such monotony & repetitive content resulting in boredom.
