Bappi Daa You'll Be Missed! πŸ™

It's yet another sad day, another legend has departed- Gone Soon πŸ₯Ί

Bappi Lahiri- the synonym of 'Indian Pop' has left the musical world today & that's absolutely dishearteningπŸ’” Before one could digest the news of Lataji's demise, this happened & that's like death to the entire Bollywood music, why say Bollywood, entire Indian music.

I remember grooving to his amazing pop numbers, "Auva Auva", "Ramba Ho", "Uri Baba", "Iam A Disco Dancer" & all those superhit dance numbers. Bappi Daa popularly known as the "Disco King" marked his legacy with golden letters on a marble for generations to come πŸ™ Even till date, when someone's rocking stage would be easily interpreted, said- "He's a rockstar- like Bappi Daa"! He introduced the "Pop Queen" Usha Uthup to Indian Cinema & you all know where she's now! Words fall short in number to describe his greatness. From my generation, I can easily tell he's the first Pop king & a true rockstar I have ever seen & grew up listening to & today my emotions expressed silence in his gratitude πŸ’”

Not only pop & dance numbers, we were privileged to have him composed melodies across languages, till date "Dil Mein Ho Tum", "Yaad Aa Rahi Hai", "Aaj Rapat Jaaye", "Chiluka Kshemama", "Vaana Vaana" etc remince in seconds, when we utter his name. The legacy left behind is an institution to all the aspiring musicians & vocalists. Bappi Daa thankyou for happening to us, glad that we lived in the era where we witnessed legends like you performing & that's enough πŸ™

You are a rockstar & forever that impression will be the same. Farewell to the departed soul 😌
