Game Changer Audio Review- Telugu (2025)

Movie: Game Changer (2025)

Director: Shankar

Cast: Ram Charan, Kiara Adwani, Anjali & Others

Music: S. S. Thamman

Music Label: Saregamapa

Game Changer the latest buzzing movie of sensational Ram Charan with the talent house Shankar finally slated for 10th Jan release is creating hype in the market already. Can't wait to watch the film but before which we have audio released with S. S. Thamman at hm. So let's see what he has done.

01. Jaragandi

Vocalists: Daler Mehndi, Sunidhi Chauhan & Chorus
Lyricist: Ananth Sriram
Rating: 2.5/5

Out & out commercial song with mass beats suiting one of Shankar's yesteryear hit songs- Randakka Randakka with a typical Thamman programming. This song which was postponed many times & also leaked some or the other times but still managed to go into the masses & trends. There is nothing so great about this song to talk about but still clicks after repeated hearings. Ananth Sriram is very inconsistent when he writes these commercial songs & this isn't any exception - his lyrics are too out of form. Vocalists hailing from Bollywood have no grip over the language & also on the song- I find no use of getting Daler or Sunidhi here as both went unheard with the loud & clumsy chorus. Might work on screen with Ram Charan's grace.

02. Raa Macha Macha

Vocalists: Naakash Aziz & Chorus
Lyricist: Ananth Sriram
Rating: 3/5

Probably the introduction song with lyrics sounding too mundane & repetitive like yesteryear's commercial numbers. The lyrics in this song directly make me think of Pararare song from Stalin which was written by same lyricist back then- but this song now lacks freshness, probably because the lyrics sound as if rehashed. Sriram's efforts to bring in that impact on audience by insisting that hero is all set to help the needy & stressing that though of a higher cadre is a human at first is pellucid but of no use as it's lost with the pigeon holing of lyrics.
Thamman's typical template beats & signature chorus makes a grand entry in the song which makes it a quite enjoyable one. By this song one can understand that album is focussing on commercial numbers & throws a light on what could be the story.

03. Naana Hyraana 👍

Vocalists: Karthik, Shreya Ghoshal & Chorus
Lyricist: Ramgojayya Sastry
Rating: 4.5/5

A beautiful romantic melody back to the big budget movie after so many days. This makes me think of those days where ARR scored such amazing melodies in Shankar's films & what a golden era was that. Shankar keeps telling audience that he hasn't lost his form or taste atleast in getting good music for his films. This song is a go from my side. Ramgojayya gets in some good lines but that aren't very fresh, they sound safe that's it- I miss Sastry gaaru here- imagining how good it would be if he was here writing for this number.

Voices of Karthik & Shreya Ghoshal are the real highlights of the song, they show why vocalists are important even in this genz/ autotune world to sing a romantic melody. Karthik sings few lines like తనువే లేని ప్రాణాలు తారడే ప్రేమల్లో అనగనగా సమయములో తొలికథలా with utmost care & peaks of expression which oozes honey 🤌. Shreya Ghoshal is nevertheless the queen - her voice is enough to make a song hit. The background conventional tabla beats are too good & catchy- I almost fell in love with the orchestration. Felt like listening to a great song after ages.

04. Dhop

Vocalists: Prithvi Chandra, Roshini JKV, Sruthi Ranjani & Chorus
Lyricist: Ramgojayya Sastry
Rating: 2.5/5

Back to the commercial genre again. A song that acts as a filler probably. An ultra stylish song with all those genz phrases written by Ramjo which he's always fond of. I dunno why but am never impressed by this Tenglish language in the songs which almost are dominated by English or Hindi & very less Telugu - why such songs get any importance is still a question to me. This is a kind of that Yenthira Logapu / Randaali from Enthiran-II with typical Thamman stimulated instrumentation. The interludes sound interesting & probably a scope for Ram Charan to rock the stage.

05. Arugu Meeda 👍

Vocalist: Roshini JKV
Lyricist: Kaasarla Shyam
Rating: 4/5

Maybe a song for Anjali in the flashback. An archetypal folk song in Thamman's style but again finding ARR here & there, maybe because of Shankar being at the helm & extracting all these genres. Kaasarla Shyam has written some sublime phrases that appeal to all kinds of listeners & also the song is set in such a way that both youngsters & elders enjoy the song. Roshni has got a very good song but the thing is she lacks to bring in the expression with utmost feminine ting like of Chitra or Janaki. I regretted why this song wasn't given to Chitramma, just was imagining her in the whole song- this is where we miss such legendary singers who could have elevated the song to a next level with their voice & expressions. Apart from that it's a very well made song.

06. Konda Devara

Vocalists: Shravana Bhargavi & Chorus
Lyricist: Kaasarla Shyam
Rating: 3/5

One more hit song in the album. But is too formulated by Thamman - it lacks freshness. Probably an action sequence song that elevates hero. Lyrics are safe. Shravana Bhargavi isn't heard at all- she's lost in the loud chorus - a bad mix. Overall might appeal on screens.

07. Koparap

Vocalist: Roll Rida & Chorus
Lyricist: Roll Rida
Rating: 3/5

Here's a remix of the most popular 'Petta Rap' from Kadhalan/Premikudu with fusion of other styles & Naana Hyraana instrumentation itself with a dash of Roll Rida's rap. So from this it is very evident that Shankar is very sincerely trying to give a strong comeback, so let's see how it works. From my side this is just another filler but I maynot have any opinions.

Picks Of The Album: Naana Hyraana & Arugu Meeda

OVERALL RATING: 6.5/10
